Tim van Dam is the founder of Changefied and an ambassador for InterActing. Through Virtual Empowerment, its VR learning platform, Changefied helps people with learning and developmental needs—such as autism and ADHD—become more independent in the areas of mobility, social skills, and finances.

Their first module, Virtual OV, teaches young people how to safely practice traveling on public transportation: planning routes, transferring between lines, dealing with crowds, and handling unexpected situations. More than 4,000 young people have already been trained, with participants giving the program a rating of 8.7. Thanks to the training, about 60% of them start traveling independently an average of six months earlier.
