Welcome to InterActing
Theater school for young people with autism
Do you want to be more confident? Feel more comfortable in a group? And laugh a lot with peers who understand you? Then join InterActing!
Improvisational theater gives you all that (and more), by doing fun exercises together. Maybe you’ll discover your skills as a stage beast, but if not, that’s totally fine too.
InterActing is all about connecting and having fun together.
Will we see you soon?

Read testimonials from:
Olivia, InterActing Student
“It’s very nice to know a whole group that also has autism. When you have autism, you are always in the minority. But to have such a big group that all have autism…It’s so nice then to improvise together. You don’t have to explain anything, because you know each other right away.”
“Before InterActing, I got completely stuck if a situation deviated from the script in my head – but now it’s easier to add a little spontaneity.”
Jurre, InterActing Student
“Before I was at InterActing, I didn’t really look at people. At InterActing, you have a few important rules: eye contact, saying “Yes, and” and listening.
I learned that at InterActing.”
“I used to clam up when talking to strangers. But now I chatter through them all the time…!”
Mother of participant Yasminah
“Mommy, do you like that I have talent too? To which I say, well and truly! Then what are you good at? And then she says: I think it’s funny that I think I can’t do that much, but then I’m working together and listening and then I just do it and then I think, I can actually do quite a lot.”
Mother participant Yarden
“Let me express my tremendous admiration to the entire InterActing team for the great work they do and the tremendous trust the program gives Yarden. Our entire extended family is big fans of InterActing.”
Matthew Lerner
Associate Professor AJ Drexel Autism Institute, Philadelphia, USA
“Young people with autism get stuck because they expect everything to go as agreed. In the real world, however, no script is followed. At InterActing, they practice their flexibility. We see over the years that that produces consistent clinical results.”
Henry van Loon
Comedian/Acteur & InterActing Ambassador
“The autistic trainees are definitely an inspiration to me.”
