InterActing in the workplace
In-company improv training
Employees with autism bring focus, accuracy and individuality. At the same time, the workplace requires flexibility, cooperation and communication. That’s where we can help!
InterActing is known for its work with autistic adolescents and young adults. Using improvisational theater as a developmental method, we build greater self-confidence, social flexibility and stronger communication. What works for these adolescents and young adults also works in the workplace. That is why we now offer our method in-company: practical, experiential and directly applicable.
What does in-company training provide?
During the training we work on social skills that directly affect how employees function in the workplace.
- Increased employee self-confidence
- Improved mental and social flexibility by practicing with unexpected situations
- Stronger social skills, such as eye contact and active listening
What does in-company training look like?
Our trainings are open to as few as four employees. Participants do not have to be on the same team, nor do they all have a diagnosis of autism. We work from the power of different thinking styles and build better cooperation, communication and self-confidence in the workplace from there.
We offer the trainings on location, or at our facility at the Boom Chicago theater in Amsterdam.
“Life is a big play and the question is who writes the script. With improvisational theater we give tools to autistic people to interact in the world” – Sander Begeer Professor of Developmental Psychology Diversity and Autism Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam“
SROI infill for employees with autism
Social accountability

A partnership with InterActing qualifies as concrete SROI fulfillment: you invest demonstrably in the learning and development of employees with autism. This way you not only meet your obligations, but you also create measurable value for your employees and organization. Want to know how this fits into your SROI framework? Contact us at info@interacting.nl. We are happy to think along with you.
