Marlou works as a project manager at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, where she has developed two programs in collaboration with Manon Krabbenborg. WAVE is a program dedicated to neuro-inclusion in education and the workforce, with the goal of enabling neurodivergent young people to thrive. Career Jumpstart is a career center that guides neurodivergent students toward their first internship or job. She mentors students and alumni with autism in the education sector, helping them discover and make the most of their talents, and she also volunteers with Autitravel.
