Come to the amazing Meet the Voices event on March 29, 2026!
March 29, 2026 | Join us for the fifth edition of this wonderful afternoon of InterActing in collaboration with Kaboom Animation. It is suitable for the whole family!
At the Boom Chicago theater on Rozengracht, a number of Dutch voice actors of animated films/series gather to perform the voices of their animated films live. Presenting is Jurgen Theuns, the voice of Thomas the Train, among others. In addition, a real voice-over technician is present so that volunteers from the audience can also practice.
The featured (voice) actors are:
- Sander de Heer, (Mr. Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants and Tai Lung in Kung Fu Panda)
- Christa Lips (Ash Ketchum in Pokémon and Rocky in PAW Patrol)
- Louis van Beek (Acer in Cars 2 and Prince Anders in Aladdin)
- Anneke Beukman (Marge in the Simpsons and Buttercup in the Powerpuff Girls)
- Franky Rampen (singer in animation, known for such songs as “We don’t talk about Bruno” in Encanto)
- Marlies Somers (Misty in Pokémon and Vicky in The Fairly OddParents)
Of course, after the show, there will be an opportunity for fans to meet their heroes in person for a real Meet&Greet.
The program for that afternoon is as follows:
15:30: The theater is open
16:00: Start of the program
17:15: Meet & Greet with the voice over actors
18:00: End of event
